A quick trip through Nats Town

spo_bs_washingtonnationals_1006

Just under 6 hours from first pitch, here’s a sampling of what’s going on at some Nationals blogs:

Over at Nats320 a well written nautical themed summary of yesterday’s come from behind Nats victory.  If there is a blog out there that I can learn to be a better blogger by reading, it’s Nats320.  Great and varied photos there as well.  Here’s one of George Washington winning the Presidents’ race. I only hope I live long enough to see Teddy Roosevelt win one of these things.

William Yoder at The Nats Blog apologizes for a lack of recent entries due to his unfortunate bout with mononucleosis. Maybe to be safe don’t click on that link.  Hopefully he won’t end up here:

That pic of mononucleosis was very disturbing. I barfed up my Apple Jacks.

No doubt. It may be ‘the kissing disease’ but there is nothing pretty about it.

      LOL.

Some Met fans think they’ve got so much to complain about. According to Nats 320, Nats dropped 10 of 11 on their recent homestand? Yikes – not THAT’s something to complain about. Must be so hard being a Nat fan right about now, especially when you know they’re going nowhere this year…..

      Meant to say ‘now THAT’s'….

You should put todays NL EAST games on the homepage as well as starting pitchers for each game.

        will get there :)
        baby steps

I know,,, umm what template are you using. We need to find room for the NL east standings at the top of the page. Maybe you could use the banner i sent you for the homepage as well. It a little bit smaller and might give u more room

not a template, just playing with adobe dreamweaver… I think i can get this figured out…would be nice to find some sort of RSS with the matchups though

I know,, I know baby steps.. but i’m all jazzed up about this new venture you guys are taking on.. Sweet baby jesus its looking good

Sweet blog roll on the left. I can’t say my ego is disappointed by more possibilities for people to navigate to my words. I also LOVE the header, with all the team logos side by side on the green wall, as the green wall evokes old (very old) Shea for me. The brick portion of the wall doesn’t evoke anything for me, but perhaps that’s perfect because over time it will start to evoke NLEastChatter baby!

Love the graphic/logo with our NY Mets dead in the center.

Dude you have to take down that picture. Gross bro,

    1. GravediggerHebner

OK, that’s multiple people now who have at least pretended to be made sick by the pic, so I’m going to swap it out shortly for something less directly frightening.

lol,, I didn’t read the headline and was just scanning the page.. I thought for a second I was looking at a picture from a colonoscopy

Grave buddy, I LOVE your posts and perspective, I have a very strong stomach, and I have never seen a movie which really grossed me out, but I must respectfully say that that picture goes up there with some of the anti-smoking ads SNY has treated us to the last few years—-impressively disgusting!

        :-)
