Guys, this site is growing and it’s growing fast. MRose, TRS & Dirty have done a phenomenal job in reconnecting Mets fans from all over. We jokingly call ourselves The Resistance because instead of twiddling our thumbs and waiting for Metsblog to take us off our ”punishment” we decided to be pro active(No, not the acne medication) and reconnect all our Flushing Faithful our damn selves.
We’re not doing this for money and we’re not doing this for sponsorship. We’re just fans who love our team with a passion. ( I mean c’mon, we talk Mets all day) So the question is, how can we further get the word out about NLEastChatter and TheRealDirtyMets?
Personally, I don’t have a problem with going over to Mattsblog.com (Nice one, Wanny) and promoting this site. I think we need to as a matter of fact. There are some smart fans still over there that are dealing with the petty nonsense we got tired of. As far as the NL East forum MRose is putting together, I think heading over to the MLB.com team message boards (Phillies, Braves etc) would catch the attention of fans who have never been exposed to something like this; at least none that I know of. What you think?

That thing drove me nuts. If it ever slanted below 50% he would skip that week of altering the graph or would round it up. A couple weeks ago the 3 top responses were 1,3,4 and he set it at 50% and went on sny and was like “the fans are currently split 50-50 right now”. HE is such a clown.

look..matt makes his money for hits..not comments. I have not been to metsblog in a few days and frankly i dont really care. I know matt makes his money off metsblog and i would never wish ill will because in my opinion this should not have gotten this far. I hope matt the best.

all we want is a functional comment section where we can agree/disagree and debate the topic at hand. Cerrone thinks that Murphy is amazing and a future star. I disagree. Thats the best part of it. Its all opinion and if you can present your argument with some intelligence then you have a fun debate.
I think Matt just wanted full autonomy and only wanted his opinion to matter. Whats the point when you only get one point of view???

completely agree and why i think this site will work. We are always monitoring this site and have an eye out for trolls and nonsense. Nobody has to agree but has to bring an intelligent point…sorry 100 “sign manny” posts is not going to work here. All we wanted was a reply button and for that..most of us get banned. I mean its just such a slap in the face especially since we policed that site for him AND even came to his defense when people attacked him for his grammar errors…yet we get banned.

Jerry Manuel said Omir Santos was in the original starting lineup, but was pulled because of a bruised shin, which he suffered Tuesday.
Also, Manuel said he intends to do a platoon at first base, despite using Fernando Tatis on Tuesday against righthander Craig Stammen. The manager said he thought slumping Daniel Murphy needed a break. Tatis should return to first base on Friday, after an off-day, with the Marlins scheduled to throw a southpaw in the series opener.
Manuel said infielder Wilson Valdez, acquired from Cleveland, should get his first Mets start Saturday in a day game, although he’s unsure whether it will come in place of Ramon Martinez or Luis Castillo.
As for starting Angel Pagan over Jeremy Reed in center, Manuel said the factors are Pagan’s speed and spring numbers and how it allows him to leave Castillo in the No. 2 hole

I promoted this site over on amazin avenue the other night. Then….last night reading comments over there I’m almost sorry I did – lol. But all welcome, I’m sure.
I’m banned over on the other blog as well. From everything I’m reading though he must NOW be reading comments as he keeps deleting and banning more and more. I don’t think he has any intention of wanting us to all play in the same sandbox. It shouldn’t be a competition, but that’s almost what he made it.
