This Day In Mets Infamy With Rusty 6/20/09

Good Morning all my fellow Mets fanatics it is time for the early Staurday morning edition of ” This Day in Mets Infamy With Rusty” . So grab your cup of joe and lets get shaking,

First off Birthday wishes are extended to former middle relief pitcher for the ’05 team Felix ” El Gato” Heredia (1975)

New York Mets signed free agent Dennis “Muskrat Love” Musgraves on June 20, 1964. – he was a decent relief pitcher that just didn’t stick

New York Mets released first baseman of the ’66 team the late Dick Stuart on June 20, 1966. – this I found surprising because in the three months he played for the Mets he had 9 homers and a good batting average

New York Mets released middle reliever Mike “DeChoke” DeJean on June 20, 2005.
and todays Mo Vaughn tidbit of the day – He doesn’t ” Go To Mo’s”

Damn right he doesn’t go to Mo’s. By now isn’t Mo one of those guys you see on the late news who needs medical attention but is so fat that the fire department has to go to his apartment and break down the wall to use a crane to lift him out? He orders XXXXXXXXXL stuff from Mo’s online and has it delivered.
