Gameday Weather 6-21-09

The silver lining to yesterday's yucky weather, will be a potentially rain-free game today

The silver lining to yesterday's yucky weather, will be a potentially rain-free game today

Mets vs Rays
CitiField at 1:10pm
Temperature: 70°F
Mostly cloudy, 30% chance of rain
Wind from the north, 13-17mph.

Going hand in hand with last night’s revelation of the rain system moving much faster than expected, today looks much drier than previously thought.

Live Radar

Down the road…

CitiField; Monday, 7:10pm – 68°F [Mostly cloudy, chance of rain]
CitiField; Tuesday, 7:10pm – 71°F [Mostly Cloudy, chance of rain]

Saturday’s Verification: Temperatures be damned – only the rain forecast mattered on Saturday. My initial forecast for a likely postponement was thrown out the window by 2pm, but luckily a patch of moderate rain verified my forecast for a rain delay late in the game.

A Happy Father’s Day to all you Dad’s out there!

So hopefully, this looks like they’ll get the game in today?
I swear we haven’t had two days of sun strung together here in about 3 weeks down here on the Jersey shore. Much like the Mets haven’t been able to string together any Ws in almost as long. Sigh….
