Also, as noted in the picture to the right…I’m on Twitter. I’ll be using it mainly for Mets-related postings, including live weather updates during Mets games. Of course, you can usually catch me in the Real Dirty Dugout for live updates as well.

Thanks to this blog for the awesome cloudy twitter image.

“Why does he spin like that?” Wife seeing K-Rod close last night.

“Cuz it works!” CaseStreet glad the wife was actually looking at the game.

As long as you don’t use Twitter for things like “I just took a crap” you should not be ashamed.

Priz I think it’s Mets v Cards, not Rays. But it’s the forecast that counts! :-)

Haha thanks, I pulled a Nichols. *oh snap*
      Fixed now though.

        “Pulled a Nichols.”

That should definitely become a part of the TRDMB lexicon, that is wonderful! And evil, which makes it all the more wonderful.

I’m with you Hebner…evil and wonderful. It’s calling a spade black too.

Are the out of date standings in the left sidebar, “pulling a Matt?”

            :-)

I’m looking at them for the first time 10 minutes after you posted that and they look right to me. I can’t be sure that one of my colleagues didn’t “fix them” in the interim however. We don’t update that ourselves, it’s a widget. When we first got it I paid more attention to it and it seemed to update about an hour after game action. Perhaps we lost a feed? All I know is they’re correct now, unless Yahoo’s standings are wrong too as that’s what I’m comparing them to.

Just joshing you guys….they’ve been out of date the last few days…today, at least on my laptop, it shows Mets 2 back (they are 1.5 back).

          4. GravediggerHebner

I’m looking at it and it shows 1.5 back. I clear my browser multiple times everyday, that may have something to do with it. But to me that’s odd that it should rely on our readers’ browser, my uneducated guess was that it would be “new” anytime you viewed our site. I’ll have to talk to my more technically inclined brethren.

No worries, we are still learning and we appreciate the feedback and constructive criticism. Plus you added a smiley, the universal symbol for “all in good fun” so we couldn’t possibly be upset.

so your telling me I should bring some rain gear to the game on THursday?

I was hoping for the return of hot sun and humidity. I love sitting at a day game, sweating out the beer. Such a manly thing to do!

working my way down too. Went to 1 game earlier in the year, and sat in the nosebleeds (400?) This week will be in I think the mid level (caeser? something like that). And in August, 1 row from the field in center field.

I will dress up my duaghter in neon colors so you can spot us above the geico sign. I will even make a Hi TRDMB sign!

If you send me a free hat and T Shirt I’ll wear it too. I know where you can get a deal on a couple gross of In Omar we trust T shirts…

    1. prismo

Nahhh you shouldn’t need rain gear. I edited the post – it’s really only a slight chance of storms.

Ha! You guys are too funny.
Very handsome, professional picture, Prismo. I’d watch you on my local news for the weather forecast. I’ll bet someday I’m gonna be saying ‘hey, I knew of him way back when’…..

Twitter…new technology is definitely for the young…

Mostly cloudy, 20% chance of snow showers

    Better than rain.
