This Day In Mets Infamy With Rusty 6/24/09

Good Morning my fellow Mets fans ( what’s good about being having a 2 hit shutout thrown against us I just don’t have the answer !). It’s time for yet another edition of ” This Day In Mets Infamy With Rusty” so lets get started.

Celebrating a birthday to day is former pitcher for the ’77 team and Jamaica, Queens product Mike ” that hurts” Bruhert (1951)

New York Mets traded farmhans Al “master” Yates to the Boston Red Sox for Dennis Bennett on June 24, 1967. – funny how neither had good careers.
and the Mo Vaughn tidbit of the day- he won a Jimmy Walker look-a-like contest back in 1979
