Good Morning to all my fellow Mets fans. Hopefully you were able to take a deep breath after yesterday’s day off and tried to put a positive spin on the next 6 games before the All Star Break ( God knows I’ve sure tried)

First off birthday greetings go out to reliever from the ’72 and ’73 teams – Tommy Moore (1948) He was raded in ’74 along with Ray Sadeki to the St. Louis Cardnails for future uber manager (too bad not when he was with us ) Joe ( Saint ) Torre
Bob “Watermelons !” Gallagher (1948)
and second baseman from the ’86 World Championship team – Tim “Do The Shuffle!” Teufel (1958) – he was error prone but the fans loved him.
And lastly toodays Mo Vaughn tidbit – his half brother is Kamala “The Ugandan Giant” Vaughn
