The Braves will do their best rain dance tonight, hoping to avoid an inevitable loss to the Mets.
Mets at Braves
Turner Field at 7:00pm
Temperature: 85°F
Mostly Cloudy, 60% chance of showers/thunderstorms
Wind from the west, 5-8mph.
Looks like tonight has the potential to be a rough start to the second half of the season. Between packing for both vacation and moving tonight, I’ll attempt to throw updates on my twitter. Speaking of vacation…I’ll be out of town starting this Saturday for a week, so expect an extended Gameday Weather post tomorrow afternoon.
Down the road…
Turner Field; Friday, 7:30pm – 77°F [Mostly Cloudy, chance of thunderstorms]
Turner Field; Saturday, 4:00pm – 80°F [Mostly Cloudy, slight chance of storms]

It would have been nice to have Johan pitch a complete game 4 hit shutout along with the angry barking he does to start the second half off on the right foot and build some momentum!!….

I still don’t understand this decision. Not unless it was b/c they had to set the rotation before the ASG and they weren’t 100% sure Johan would not be called upon to pitch.
Otherwise, to me, it makes way more sense for Johan to be pitching tonight. We need every advantage we can get in the second half and as many starts as we can get from Johan is a far bigger advantage than Ollie’s starts.
Sigh….
