Birthday greetings go out to former Mets third baeman and manager – who happens to be managing the first place Los Angeles Dodgers Joe ” SAINT” Torre (1940) – Makes you wish he was still managing us huh ?!
next up is our current third basecoach Razor “dull as a used Gillette Fusion” Shines (1956) – he is so bad as a third base coach that he makes Mike Cubbage and Luis Aquayo look like Sam Perlazzo !!!
New York Mets signed free agent Danny Frisella on July 18, 1966. – Danny would pass away in 1975 in a freak dune buggy accident.
And lastly Mo Vaughn has been banned from both the wake and the funeral because Mets officials are afraid he will throw himself on the coffin.
