Bart Hubbuch has just posted a new blog with quotes from K-Rod about his now confirmed incident on the bus in Altanta last week.
K-Rod is quoted as saying “”Yeah [it happened], but I’m not going to talk about that,” Rodriguez told The Post before tonight’s game here with the Nationals. “Not going to get into it.”
A source who was not named also said a telling statement “That guy [Bernazard] is crazy. No one like[s] him.”
Unfortunately in the same article, Hubbuch says that early indications are that Tony B will keep his job, which seems crazy, but I guess we have to wait and see.

Ok so let me get this straight. 3 incidents involving Bernazard that we have just found out about, people around the baseball community calling him “crazy” among other things. Getting his nose into Mets on field processes, sticking it where it does not belong. And yet Omar is going to stick up for him and the Wilpons willm not fire him. Speechless…It just doesnt get any worse to be a Mets fan.
Then in the press conference Omar says how he would rather be looking out on the trade market seeing as we are 6.5 games back of the WC. Ok, first of all this team needs a lot of help, second you just let Lugo get traded for by the Cards, third you told us yesterday that we would be getting no help by the July 31 deadline. So what is it Omar, just flat out tell us WTF you are up to.
OY VEY.

Ed Coleman said on the pre game show tonight, this is a big problem for Bernazard….when asked if he thought he would lose his job.

I’m really starting to believe we won’t get any relief as long as the Wimpons are running the show. It all starts at the top and these guys have no idea how to run an organization. This is so embarassing. Bernazard is an a-hole who should have been fired long ago.

The last thing this team needs is for this crazy animal to be saying anything to our all stars. All these incidents and this piece of worthless trash still has a job. This is cronyism to the extreme. No wonder we have so many head cases on this team. I bet they all had run ins with this psychotic goon. What beef could he possibly have with K-Rod who has been nothing but amazing for us. He probably took the buffoons seat on the bus.
Unbelievable if this man is not canned.

You are 100% right.
KRod has been our best player this year.
In addition to the Beltran injury situation, now this….what free agent will sign here as long as this hierarchy is in place??
WHERE ARE THE WILPONS???

Hopefully making plans to sell the team. A guy can dream, right? Bernazard should have been fired by now, hopefully this will do the trick. And hopefully Omar goes shortly thereafter….

It’s possible that after the Madoff affair the Wilpons have gone into a state of depression. As we speak the Wilpons may be holding a séance begging Walter O’Malley for help in running a ball club.
