- In easily his worst start of the month, Santana served up five runs on a career-high 12 hits and three walks last Friday in Houston, taking his eighth loss — though only the third in which he did not submit a quality start. He will be making his first-ever start against the Rockies, one of only two teams he has never faced (the other being the Twins, his former employer for eight seasons).

apparently not, V-Mart has a -0.1 UZR. He’s an upgrade over Delgado @ -0.3 but not over Evans 0.2, Tatis 0.6, or Murphy 0.9

I agree with what you said above about the Mets being in the mix on Mauer.
I think everyone, even Omar’s biggest detractors, would admit that Omar signs big time free agents, which is exactly what Mauer will be (unless they trade him in which case – been there, done that with Minnesota).
