Gulf Coast League
- The GCL Mets shutout the GCL Astros 4-0 Friday. 3 players taken in the 2009 draft took part for the GCL Mets. 1B Travis Ozga had an RBI single in the 5th inning to go 1 for 4. C Nelfi Zapata also had an RBI single in the 5th inning, then was driven in by Ozga as part of his 1 for 4 game. RF ZeErika Hall led off the game with a single and singled again in the 8th to go 2 for 4. For more see the box score and recap.

- The Kingsport Mets beat the Johnson City Cardinals 4-2 Friday. 2 members of the draft class of ’09 played for the K-Mets. DH Ronald Harris was 0 for 4. CF Darrell Ceciliani was hit by a pitch in the 1st inning and stole his 9th base of the season, then in the 8th inning he walked and scored as part of his 0 for 2 game. See the box score and recap for more. The Kingsport Times-News has a game story.
New York-Penn League
- The Jamestown Jammers beat the Brooklyn Cyclones 4-0 Friday. 3 players drafted this June played for the Cyclones. DH Nick Santomauro went 0 for 4. 1B Sam Honeck reached on an error in the 3rd and walked in the 5th as part of his 0 for 4 game. SS Robbie Shields walked in the 2nd, hit his 3rd triple of the season in the 6th, and walked in the 9th to go 1 for 2. For more see the box score and recap.
