The problem is that its going to be hard to make a waiver deal with a team that has alot of young cheap talent.

O I attempted to understand the waiver concept, and I guess I didn’t realize you could that..my mistake.
I kinda want to see Shef back next year as a power bat off the bench, or option in case Francoeur doesn’t work out, but I’m sure that won’t happen.

Problem is on the open market next year don’t you think Sheff will get 3-5M? Tatis even got 1.75 right?

Ya that’s why I’m sure it won’t happen. The Mets are almost better off putting shef on the DL and making it look like he is hurt lol.

I think I am right on the waiver concept. It’s just we would not get that players services until next year. Also if the player we acquire is NOT on the 40 man I don’t think he has to clear anyway.

I’d like to get a young minor league catcher and see if they can do well in this low pressure situation.

Yeah I guess catcher would be ok but I am thinking they are weak there. They have a lot of IF depth.

Byebye boys. I’ll take any number of prospects, haha! It’s not like Sheff/Wags mean anything to the Mets the rest of this season anyway.
