- The GCL Marlins beat the GCL Mets 1-0 Thursday. 3 2009 draftees played. C Nelfi Zapata was 0 for 4. 1B Travis Ozga singled and stole his 4th base of the season in the 3rd inning to go 1 for 3. RF Chase Greene singled in the 3rd and doubled in the 6th to go 2 for 4. For more see the box score and recap.
Appalachian League
- The Kingsport Mets beat the Johnson City Cardinals 7-1 Thursday. 3 2009 draftees played. P Thomas Chism threw a scoreless 9th inning. He allowed 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 2. CF Darrell Ceciliani doubled and scored in the 2nd inning to go 1 for 5. LF Ronald Harris had an RBI triple in the 1st inning and came in to score, and he had a 3rd inning single to go 2 for 4. See the box score and recap for more.

- The Brooklyn Cyclones scored twice in the 8th inning to beat the Mahoning Valley Scrappers 2-1 Thursday. 4 2009 draftees played. P Brandon Sage (3-1) picked up the win with 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief. He allowed 1 hit and struck out 1. 1B Sam Honeck and SS Robbie Shields were both 0 for 4. LF Alex Gregory doubled in the tying run in the 8th inning, then came in to score the eventual winning run on a throwing error. Gregory went 1 for 4. For more see the box score and recap.
