- The Kingsport Mets beat the Johnson City Cardinals 7-1 Thursday.Â 3 2009 draftees played.Â P Thomas Chism threw a scoreless 9th inning.Â He allowed 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 2.Â CF Darrell Ceciliani doubled and scored in the 2nd inning to go 1 for 5.Â LF Ronald Harris had an RBI triple in the 1st inning and came in to score, and he had a 3rd inning single to go 2 for 4.Â See the box score and recap for more.

- The Brooklyn Cyclones scored twice in the 8th inning to beat the Mahoning Valley Scrappers 2-1 Thursday.Â 4 2009 draftees played.Â P Brandon Sage (3-1) picked up the win with 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief.Â He allowed 1 hit and struck out 1.Â 1B Sam Honeck and SS Robbie Shields were both 0 for 4.Â LF Alex Gregory doubled in the tying run in the 8th inning, then came in to score the eventual winning run on a throwing error.Â Gregory went 1 for 4.Â For more see the box score and recap.
