   Does anyone know what the hell happened to Delgado???? I thought mid August was the time table…its now September and he isnt even discussed when injured players are mentioned!! I think I heard of a minor setback if memory serves me but that was weeks ago…its just too much…just proves this wasnt our year…imagine we were in the race and looking for that extra pop lol

      Joe, I honestly believe that the team has been flat-out lying about the injury return timetables. There is no other rational explanation. Wasn’t everyone going to be back by some time in August?

      Did we think there was any chance that Reyes or Delgado (or Putz) would be out for the year? Or that Beltran or Maine would be gone this long?

         agreed…but reyes injury bizzare…beltran bizzare…maine bizzare…at least with delgado we knew the injury and the surgery..same as arod and now we hear nothing on what he is even doing?? is he resting? done for year? he was about to start running bases wasnt he lol..doesnt bode well for him in a contract year…not that i wanted him back next year but if he came back this year and showed some pop and what not i wouldnt be in total disagreement with given him a shot for cheap…seems like a mute point as the calendar turns

      Delgado was right on track after hip surgery to return mid/late August. During his rehab he then strained his labrium (right? left?). That was mid August. They shut him down for 2 weeks for that to heal. He would then pick up where he left off right about now, but probably not coming back, I would guess…

   Call me crazy, but after very careful consideration and deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that Tim Redding is not a very good pitcher.

      haha and glad pelf so vehemently told us he stunk last night…thanks i feel better now pelf at least u can recognize u were bad unlike why u balk for no apparent reason…update i forgot..chalk it up to the yips lol

   delgado was seemingly on track (if not ahead of schedule) on his rehab for the hip. But, like Putz, he hurt something else. I think it was a quad, or some other muscle, pull? SOmething that reminded my of Alou! Otherwise, he probably would have been back by now.

      right but wasnt that like 3 weeks ago…no update?? no chance of seeing him at all this year?? I would assume if there was the organization would be letting us know

            So he can start next year..god help us all! I like the guy, his work ethic is awesome, but the talent just isn’t there, at least for what we expect.
