The Mets were winning 1-0 through 7. Bobby rebounded big time versus the Cubs, holding them scoreless through 7. Thanks to a defensive hiccup known as the “Bermuda Triangle”, the Cubs tie the game at 1-1. In the 8th inning the Mets came back to throw down 5 runs on the Cubs. After the Cubs loaded the bases, Frankie made Jerry look stupid(Cubs loaded the bases with one out, which is a save situation. Manuel left Brian for one more hitter with a warmed up Krod in the bullpen. That hitter drove in a run on a booted ball from Tatis) to save the game 6-2. You can check out the boxscore here.
