   Go Figgy.

   Beautiful day for a ball game. Even though they pretty much suck this year, if I lived closer to Citi, I’d be at the park today….
   It’s actually easier to enjoy these games now once we knew we were completely out of the race.

   Omar, it is OK to just cut Schneider now. You aren’t dumb enough (I hope) to off er him arbitration anyway, and I think it might be safe to start Thole agianst the RH SPs for the rest of the year!

   sullivan is having a nice little finish to the year too. Might not (bad for him, but good for the mets) have room next year, since there will hpoefully be better options for the BU OF spots on the bench.

   Bah…long ball did Figgy in today. Not an awful outing – it’s not like the jumped on him. We had many opportunities to win that game. Oh well.

   So Mike ‘The Jogger’ Pelfrey on the mound tomorrow. Here’s hoping he can follow in the footsteps of Misch and Figgy and Parnell and give 6-7 quality innings.

   Thole 2 for 4 today and threw a runner out at second. I have to keep reminding myself he’s so young as he carries himself well with the media, especially in NY.
