
Want to be an Intern with the New York Mets? All you have to do is write and submit an essay explaining why you would like to break into the business of baseball with mets.com. Then submit to a panel of five (5) staff members of Bentley University (the “Judges”) will judge all eligible Submissions based on criteria set forth in the Judging section below. All Submissions must be a maximum of 100 words in length and submitted in English.

Not to rip the Mets any further than they have already been ripped but how is it that the University that decides if you are a Mets intern is a Boston one? Shouldn’t it be like St. Johns University?

Yes, just trying to rationalize. My point is maybe they are doing this for a lot of teams and the Mets themselves have no say in it?

True, your right the Mets may have no say over it.
Looking through the teams on the east coast the only other team that is doing the promotion is the team in which the University resides the Boston Red Sox.
MLB seems to be running this promotion. Still have to say MLB dropped the ball by not allowing a NY University judge the Mets essays imo.
