According to The Fan 590, the Jays GM has denied the Delgado rumor.
 Let’s hope this is just your typical GM denying a deal before it is official. Please!Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos has denied any reports of the team signing Carlos Delgado when contacted by THE FAN 590.

Everything I’ve read so far about Delgado’s performance in Puerto Rico indicates that MRose is right.

Good luck Carlos, I really mean it. Thank you for all the HR and the occasional controversy, you were seldom boring. But it’s time for both parties to move on so I hope this is true.

Molina signed with SF for 1 year 4.5M deal… I’m pretty sure the Mets offered him more than that… I guess he felt insulted by the Mets 1+1 offer and took less money…

I too agree he is probably better suited as a DH at this point in his career. Wouldn’t have upset me too much though, if we had signed him on the cheap
