According to MLBTR: The Mets signed Val Pascucci, who has 193 minor league homers to his name.
If you remember Val was tearing up our AAA in 2008 but was not brought back for 2009. Obviously this is minor league filler but keep this in mind. When you go see the Bisons play this year they will hit HR. Earlier this year the Mets added Mike Hessman who is the active HR leader in the minors with 311 HR. I think this is all part of the plan to put a more exciting product on the field in AAA. This to go along with guys like Fmart and Davis could make for a a lot of offense in Buffalo.

AAA may just hit more HR’s than the major league team.

Sweet. If I recall the common rallying cry of 2008 was “Why won’t they bring up Pascucci already?!?”
I’m kinda halfway determined to catcha Bisons game this year. Kinda annoyed that I never went to one while i was going to school in Buffalo, but hey, better late than never. I’ve had a wing craving for months anyway.

where the heck will they play all 3? Unless Jerry gets demoted, Davis will play 1st every day (and if he gets platooned vs. LHP, the manager there (oberkfell still?) should be fired immediately.
At least they have the DH. And I sure hope they don’t shove Davis in the OF to make room for Hessman!
