Once again, appreciate your posting all these here in one place. I missed all these interviews this afternoon.
Some observations:
- gotta love Frenchy. He talks about missing Jose last year likes he’s a veteran on this team and has played with him for years. And he certainly talks the talk. Here’s hoping that translates into walking the walk this season.
- the interview between Wright and MF gave me the feeling that neither one of them really wanted to be talking to the other one. Could be me but I don’t think there’s any love lost there.
- Reyes sounded completely upbeat and ready to go. I think he’s being very honest in that whole FBI interview issue and I don’t believe there is anything to worry about there.
- Didn’t listen to the Jerry interview – mostly b/c my dinner has just arrived – lol.
Over on SB Nation-Talking Chop the title for their game thread was ‘Braves at Muts’. Uh…kinda low class there for that author, wouldn’t you say? Read through some of their comments and man, those Braves fans really hate Francoeur. The comparisons between him and Heyward went on and on. Can’t totally blame them as Heyward looks like the real deal there.

When they first brought up Frenchy they thought he was the real deal. If you lookup “Hypocritical Horse’s Read-End†you see a photo of a Brave’s fan.

I know it’s like shooting fish in a barrel but FWICG.com, aka fromwhaticangather.com:
“the more and more i hang around here, i’m thinking niese will get that fifth starter spot, and nieve will snag the final spot in the rotation”
Wow, what a scoop, Jerry must be going with a 6 man rotation!
Obviously, I know he meant bullpen for Nieve but I’ve had so little to add to the discussion the past few days I had to post something. I know, I know, I’m being picky and picking on MC who we must secretly aspire to be, not. Tip of the hat side to MC, he’s had some great photo’s of ST over there.

LOL! It is like shooting large dead fish in a barrel with a machine gun.
Matt also has a headline story about the Mets’ interest in Adrian “Gonalez.”
The funniest thing is how Matt talks about his love of writing, when he cannot spell, let alone write.
He had two left fielders in the lineup today, and no one in right.
I bet if Grave was at spring training with Matt’s access, he would post infinitely better thought-provoking articles, with great photos, and I bet he would have the respect for his readers, his corporate sponsors, and humanity to spell his headlines correctly and have a player at each position in his lineups.

100% Agree. I often wonder if he’d just slow down for a couple of minutes and read what he wrote before he posts. I dunno, whatever. The more I think about it the conclusion I reach is the best thing to come out of that site is this site. At a minimum no censorship, and IMO much better author’s. And your right Gravy would be awesome in ST with that access.
I do still wish MC success as he was a trailblazer for our team as fans. I’m just hoping somewhere down stream he steps back realizes what he has and takes the next step to clean up the mistakes. As far as I’m concerned he’s a sponsored media outlet for sometime now and not this man of the people fan blog he pretends to be. That being the case he needs to add the professionalism of being a columnist.

Then again maybe I’m getting soft wishing MC well since it’s past my work night bedtime. At morning’s light I’ll probably hope he crashes and burns. Goodnight.
