For real? They actually hand out paper checks instead of direct deposit?
I didn’t think any company did that anymore, let alone a ML franchise…..

it’s not the Mets, it must be money from the player’s association pools (like merchandising). So they won’t have any kind of payroll direct deposit set up.
I would expect they would mail them, but I guess not.
At least the local strip joints should have a windfall tonight!

Bobby probably used this as an opportunity to check in on the first installment of his deferred payout. Great, all we need is this tool hanging around the next 20 years. I’ll be dead before he’s gone.
