Mets Set To Release The Dragon Slayer

Yes folks I am sad to report this, but according to Adam Rubin Of the New York Daily News, the Mets are expected to grant Josh Fogg’s request to be released from his contract. Josh Fogg has been sidelined for most of spring training with a pulled side muscle ,and hasn’t made an appearance in a game this spring.

Fogg signed a minor league deal with the Mets this past January after spending last season with the Rockies. So much for him slaying dragons for the Mets this year. Good luck Josh and please don’t catch on with the Phillies !

Actually, I hope Josh Fogg does make an appearance with the Phillies, for it will mean something went drastically wrong with their season. Never understood this signing, even on a minor-league deal. How this guy has lasted this long in the major leagues defies logic. He’s not even a lefty!

He’s probably had plenty of practice, since his lack of quality stuff puts runners on at an alarming rate…..
