    Very cool slideshow.

    I love those FanWalk Moments

The images of Casey and Hodges above the vip entrances is nice also.

You mean a Yankee and a Dodger?

      I kid, I kid.

Timeout for 24hrs go to your room. :-P

I was at the pratt HR game. FWIW. which ain’t much.

At least it will now be hard to miss the fact that the Mets play there.

That’ll be nice for a change.

I really love how the Plaza (The Piazza?) off the subway looks.

    1. gipperpdx

What, is the plaza juiced now?

      Sorry…couldn’t help it.

I’m a little confused about why Jason Bay has his own flag…
Maybe it was in the contract.

Maybe they already had them done before the off-season?

    2. Mr North Jersey

Think of it as bridging the past with the present and the future.

    3. metsfan4decades

LOL – maybe somebody has a crystal ball and knows his contributions are gonna be something we talk about for years to come….

It’s cool to see the banners of Gooden and Santana together. Makes you wonder what it would of been like to have them both playing together at the same time in Met uniforms in their prime.

Also gotta wonder if there had been a more vocal presence if he could have avoided his issues?

      1. Mr North Jersey

So sad to think of what could of been.

The good thing is Doc looks like he has his life back in order and is doing positive things in the community.

Very true and Darryl is on Celebrity Apprentice so that’s good.

          1. Mr North Jersey

Yep last nights episode about creating a Kodak Moment Darryl took pictures with Fans wearing a Mets Jersey. They said he was one of the most popular celebrities there.

I remember a few months ago when Darryl called Benigno & Roberts to advertise for fans to come down for that event.

Also last night Trump asked him who does he see his allegiance more to the New York Yankees or a New York Mets? Darryl’s reply, New York.

Well Ceetar again we have to thank you for the link to the Crane Pool Forum it has generated a lot of views.

I give HotFoot props for linking to us also and not going the fromwhaticangather.com route or for that matter 7traintoshea route.

    1. ceetar

heh. Maybe I should’ve posted it myself.

      1. Mr North Jersey

I linked your site that was the best I could do. :-)

        1. ceetar

          And much appreciated. ;-)

Turns out it wasn’t even Lunchbucket’s photos. though he didn’t say whose they were, but whatever. By the way it spread it’s obvious people wanted to, and hadn’t, seen them.

This is magnificent and beautiful…thank you Ceetar and Mr North for posting these pictures, and thank you to the Wilpons for listening to fans for 35+ years like me who will be thrilled to see all of this historical stuff when I go to Citi next year.

    Absolutely great.

    Great shots, thanks for sharing.

I’m so damn picky: Too me it doesn’t look right having Seaver on the side he’s on. I think they should swap Koosman and Seaver so it look’s like each is coming from the correct side. It looks right when you look at the Gooden / Santana banner. Yes, I’m this annoying at work too.

  11. gipperpdx

Jason Bay?? Sorry, he shouldn’t be on a banner in the company of Staub, Carter, Keith, Tug, Agee, etc.

  12. gipperpdx

Overall, it is nice that they heard the outcry from the fan-base about the lack of respect for Mets history in the original version of Citi. These are all steps in the right direction.

WTF with the old home run apple being dismantled? I hope that is just for cleaning.

Scored my first Citi Field tix for 5/25 vs the Phils. Metropolitan Box 114, Row 12. Woo hoo!
