Ike Davis has been reassigned to minor-league camp, meaning no opening day action for the Mets’ potential future first baseman. (via Dave Lennon)
Ike made it to the plate 28 times in Spring Training this month. He batted.480 with an OPS of 1.496 (ridiculously high – Pujols would be jealous), while walking 3 times, belting 3 home runs, and knocking in 10 RBIs.
According to Steve Popper: Evans, Stoner, and Pridie have been optioned to Buffalo. Riggans and Cabrera have been reassigned to minor league camp (with Davis).
