B-Boys Makin’ With The Freak Freak

On the eve of Opening Day here’s a look at how the two new Mets in the starting lineup, Rod Barajas and Jason Bay (the “B-Boys”), fare against some 2010 opponents.  Because I’m keeping it optimistic as the season starts I’ve only included pitchers against whom they do well (by “well” I mean have a higher than their overall career OPS, you may click on their name to see how they’ve done against anyone you wish), and because I didn’t want this list to be a mile long I’m only including pitchers against whom they have at least 10 career at bats.

Very interesting; and I love the Snoop-icized name for our LF.

And Stick, the Parade is still on!

May I have 10,000 marbles please?

And yes, Mandy Pepperidge WILL be on our float smiling and waving…no word on Babs Jensen yet; she still has to get back to me. Katy is away with Boon; she can’t make it. Clorette DePasto and Mrs. Wormer are in rehab. Again.

Otis Day has finally agreed to play the after-Parade party.

The float is polished, stocked, and ready.

I can’t wait for Victorino to come knocking on the top door like Greg Marmalard….Frenchy is going to burst out and kick his ass!

            Hey, I never left!

As I said in your post’s comment area this morning, I just made the mistake of letting my inner Met child stay up late and watch a few spring game replays in the last week!

            :-)

I’m just tired of the negativity – I know I have been too – but I’ll never desert my team

I would never, ever desert the Mets. Only in 1993, with Murray, Bonilla, Coleman, Saberhagen, etc, especially after Coleman threw the firecrackers at the fans in the LA parking lot and hit a kid, did I seriously waver on being a Met fan….in 1994 I was back, and I sure as hell ain’t going anywhere now!

well, I had a replacement all lined up, but my daughter isn’t old enough to drive, so I guess you can come crawling back with your tail between your legs.

We have an awful lot of seats to fill though. But there is still time.

hey, I will even buy you a beer at the shack (our name for the beer and dog hut right outside the main gate) when I come up for my annual Toga track weekend in August.

Stick, if you tell me when you are here, I will buy YOU a beer my friend!
