    Oh my…

Thanks for posting this…although not sure how I’m gonna get work done this afternoon now ;)

    1. Mr North Jersey

      LoL

  3. saltygary

This is sexist and exploitative. Wright should be ashamed of himself.

    1. Mr North Jersey

Let the women have their fun I say.

      1. metsgirl31

        thank you :)

    Well….thank you, Mr. Jerz.

As a female poster, I can say without a doubt this commercial beats Jeter’s Ford commercials, hands down.

Oh, my…..might have to take another look.

    1. GravediggerHebner

Jeter: “I have an Edge. It’s salmon-pink with horsies and sexy cowboys painted on it, and has a perfectly placed bump in the middle of the driver’s seat.”

        hahahaha

  5. rustyjr

I have to confess though I had to dig around the blogsphere to find out who that other kid was. I don’t want much in the way of TV anymore – games aside – and I had no idea about a show called The Jersey Shore.

    1. GravediggerHebner

Yeah, a little while ago AA had a post with a pic of some guy which had a caption something along the lines of “not the ideal situation.”

I had no idea who the guy was or what the caption meant, and in reading the comments neither did a bunch of other people who noted that, then had it explained to them that the guy in the pic was “The Situation.” Since then my childish mind always thinks “The Constipation.”

I don’t know what the dudes actual name is, but I thought it was his abs that were named “the situation”?

Never actually watched the show. But, just go to wildWood on a Satrday night in the summer, and see all you want of the real thing!

        1. metsfan4decades

Which I did many a time in my youth. It was wild back then, it’s probably even more so now.

Spent a year living 3 blocks from the ocean in Belmar back in my early 20s. Talk about a summer party town. Only problem was, they were all bennies from Philadelphia….

So Wright going to make a cameo on Jersey Shore? What’s Wright’s Jersey Shore name?

    Here are a few:
    The Tricep
    Boy Toy
    Jackie Mortadella

    1. rustyjr

      David 2 times

        The Wright Situation

        1. rustyjr

          We have a weiner !

        2. metsfan4decades

          Good one!

    2. Kingman 26

      “Jackie Mortadella”

      HAHAHA!!

I think that was the character that never was on the Sopranos.

  8. stickguy

Odd. But it is their money I guess. I don’t quite see what the point of having the shore kid in this?

WOuld have been better if the situation was the announcer, and Carton was working out with DW.

    1. CaseStreet

probably cause the situation is all about working out

    2. ceetar

Eh. it’s a ‘hit’ apparently, people watch. that works.

what’s with the comments? they’re weird.

  9. stickguy

Seriously though, didn’t it occur to anyone in David’s “amp” that making a commercial, especially where the premise is training to get bigger and stronger, with a guy that I am pretty sure is an admitted steroid user (that whole crew I think celebrate it as part of their “culture”) might not be a good idea?

    1. Mr North Jersey

Where is your press pass? You sound like Michael Kay.

No seriously though are you going to suggest that a commercial with a tv personality somehow means that Wright is guilty of whatever that guy is?

      1. stickguy

given how over the top the press is now, and how sensitive an issue, why do anything that can even remotely smell funny?

      2. GravediggerHebner

It’s sort of like Tiger Woods doing a commercial for Hooters. Nothing truly wrong with it, but…

        1. Mr North Jersey

LoL that would be a great to see on SouthPark or Mad TV.

    2. GravediggerHebner

I think what you bring up is the more worrisome thing, but also unfortunate is the knowledge that Vitamin Water is actually really, really bad for you, and deliberately misleading in it’s presentation as “good for you.” It’s sugar water, you might as well drink a soda.

      Vitamin Water Bad For You

      1. ceetar

I DESPISE High Fructose Corn Syrup, give me real sugar! mmmm…real sugar… mmmm…forbidden donut..

        1. GravediggerHebner

Ahh the Forbidden Donut episode, one of my faves!

  10. metsfan4decades

Tonight’s lineup is featuring Pagan, Tejada and Tatis. No Jacobs to have to watch batting clean up.

    1. CaseStreet

yeah, they’re facing a lefty so Gangsta Jerry is making his moves
