Hats off to Ollie for not only a brilliant pitching performance last night, but the smarts to keep his mouth shut when asked about coming out. His comment that it wasn’t his decision to make, shows me he’s not as ‘dumb’ as some make him out to be. He might have wanted to stay in, he might have felt he could finish that inning, but he’s not going to start the ball rolling with the media by calling out his manager on that decision.
