If things are still bad when June 15th comes around, then you fire Manuel, Shines, HoJo, maybe Warthen depending on how the pitching looks and Chip Hale will be named the interim manager.
Then somebody needs to address this whole Reyes disaster. Whoever decided he needs to be a leader on this team needs to be removed from the organization. We need the immature, out of control, exciting Reyes back and not this drone that has been there ever since the Phillies b*tched about his celebrations.
As for Omar, I would not fire him as long as he has a plan. He needs to accept the fact that Maine and Ollie do not have a future on this team (if he hasnt already) and that they need to be replaced. He needs to sign the best FA SP they can buy to replace Ollie and then allow guys like Gee, Stoner, Mejia etc compete for the 5th spot on opening day.
I think they gave Jerry a pass last year because of injuries. I’m thinking it started with this season. And I’d have to think it started with day one…..
