I’ve seen in numerous places that the Mets now have a “fresh” start to the season, which is blatantly misleading and just wrong! Sure, it’s like getting a fresh start to the season if the Mets began the season 2.5 games out of first place and Bud Selig decided to give them 11% less games to catch up. If you believe that, then sure – it’s a brand new season! But let’s get real. This season is more than 10% over – just because we’re back to .500 doesn’t mean things begin anew. There’s still catching up to be done! Let’s Go Mets!
