Good Read: Clutch or Not, This Team Can Fight

Another great article from the guys at Mets Merized Online: Clutch or Not, This Team Can Fight

Much like our own article from Dirty:This Met team is different…

What that shows is that excitement is growing.  None of us can promise that this trend will continue but all of us have to say it’s refreshing to have the feeling you are in each game until the last AB.

Actually I have started to understand MC more but I can’t help myself on this one. If one of us posted this you guys would be ripping us too:

“To read more about last night’s loss, check out post-game writes ups from Mets Fans Forever, Mets Today, Mets Merized Online, Amazin Avenue, Mets 360, Pessimets and Mets Online.”

I saw this, this morning. LOL.

Everyone makes the occasional mistake. Some, obviously, make more than the occasional one. Weren’t we just discussing this in the dugout last night? Don’t think I’ve ever seen an error on any post game wrap up here. Attention to detail, plus Grave is so creative he’s obviously not using any template to just cut and paste from….

Turned on SNY right now just in time to catch the bottom of the 8th again from last night’s game. It just never gets old.

Agreed, I like MC and especially what he has done for the Mets blogging community. Without him we don’t exist. But please hire an editor or take time to proof read.

It’s so mindbogglingly simple. Leave out words like loss, game 3, etc. Make a template instead of just copying and altering yesterdays post game post.

“but, it’s impossible to deny that his hit last night wasn’t exciting…”

Hey Matt — I think you mean that it’s impossible to deny that his hit WAS exciting

That is a feeling that hasnt been here for a while….and yes real you inspired me to write that article with the convo in the dugout. This team is different, 6 runs in one inning…wow

    1. trs86

With some unlikely heroes in that 6 runs.

Agreed. This just hopefully opens Omars eyes to the importance of a productive bench. Hopefully…gmj is on his way out and we get someone who remembers how to use a bat

Too bad I stopped watching during the 5th.

This is not 2009 and Davis for ROY.

Davis was pretty bad at the plate yesterday, so let’s settling for Gold Glove today. tomorrow we’ll discuss ROY.

Fun game to be at. I was freaking out when Ike hit it over the foul pole. It look liked it landed in fair territory, and it looked like Ike thought it was gone, but I had no perspective on it from my seat.

The early innings were frustrating, but Olsen was cracking all night, and despite their record I wasn’t overly scared of the Nats bullpen, and now we beat them all up and get to see ‘em again this afternoon!

    The place was empty though.

I think once the weather picks up, people will start heading to the games.

you would think so, but I mean, it’s not the cost, because yesterday/this series was as affordable as the area has been in the last 4-5 years.

Next series is Phils/Yanks, so the next real attendence test is june 4th against florida.

i know this was yesterday’s topic, but i’m concerned about the fillies today. i’m of the opinion that selig should look into moving today’s doubleheader back to philadelphia. i mean, were they to stay in colorado they might get wet.

      LOL – good one.

      1. stickguy

        play in the snow. wussies.

not tha it is much drier today in Philly.

I always wondered how well a batter would hit if they truly always knew what the pitch was coming. Bonds might have hit .700
