well Niese is injured, Ollie is terrible, Maine is pretty bad and we have no MLB ready pitching prospects knocking on the door in AAA.
they needed to sit down and discuss what they were going to do going forward.

Completely unrelated.
Just wondering if Trevor Hoffman’s career may be over. Came into today with 5 saves, 4 blown saves, a WHIP over 2.00 and an ERA over 11.00. Had a 2-run lead in the 9th. Gave up a single, homer, double, walk, single, game over, Brewers lose.

Hoffman is beyond done. He’s a huge reason the Brewers are so terrible this year. He’s had a great career, but it’s time to step aside. Same with Ken Griffey, Jr. Sad to see when guys stick around too long.
