   Shouldn’t Jerry lose his job for pitching to a batter with runners on second and third, no outs, in the seventh inning of a scoreless game with the pitcher on deck?

   If Jerry walks Russo, at the very least he has a double play opportunity or a force out at the plate. He also has the chance to strike the pitcher out and get a double play on the next batter.

   Incompetence.

      well, the list of actions which you could say he should be fired for alone is quite long. And while I assume every manager makes a misake now and then, Jerry’s body of work more than will justify getting the ax.
