On The Black Q&A With Joe Petruccio

For so many years Mets fans have this image of Orosco celebrating as the Mets won a W.S. in 1986. Now years later in an interview with OnTheBlack.com’s Kerel Cooper we find that the man responsible for designing the uniform with the racing stripes is also the same man responsible for the great sketches covering the Mets season Joe Petruccio of My NY Mets Journal Blog.

There I worked on a few campaigns for the Mets.
But the highlight was being able to design the uniform they wore (racing stripes) when they won the 1986 Championship!
” said Joe Petruccio’s when asked to tell readers about himself.

It’s a great interview visit OnTheBlack to read it in it’s entirety.
