the Phillies are on pace to win about 86 games. Or, as many ‘experts’ call it, “running away with the division.”
During the Phillies series Keith speculated (he does do that a lot..) that Utley’s hip was hurting. Delgado still hasn’t been back after his hip surgery. A-Rod’s recovery is likely drug-addled, but I’ve seen hits of his hip bothering him lately too. hmm…

Like I said when you noted that Heyman had called the Mets draft pick:

I think the 3 person theory with Lee, Harvey and Oswalt have shot that shark. Turk Wendel was held for questioning.

a bad hip is not that easy to fix. not when you put such incredible strain on it swinging.
so it really is quite possible.
And, he is in his 30s. as someone noted above, quite common for 2Bs to fall off a cliff when they get up there in age.
breaks my heart if it is true…

Utley is around my age. I still feel like 21…

have hip capsule surgery, then try and play 2B and swing a baseball bat hard enough to hit HRs, and see how long that lasts!

I understand ARod was pulled in the late innings last night due to a groin pull, strain, something.
Yankees and the Phils are getting old.
Meanwhile, Mets infield Sat (1st, 2nd, 3rd, SS) had the old guy on 3rd at 27).

they both do have quite a lot of age (BB relative) on the field, and for some key guys.
sucks for them.

i love it. But hopefully the padres got it out of their system and don’t beat the mets again too.

Mets just don’t lose at home. Pelfrey and Santana. I’ll be there for free for Santana. we’re set.
Yanks draft pick seemingly getting bad reviews.

So the Yankees will buy a super star or two down the line if need be.

you can thank me. Utley was my fantasy team 1st round pick.
and yes, I am firmly cemented in last place. Although I did win it last year.
