   Eddie C just said “I think they will get a pitcher” then he mentioned Brett Myers specifically and said “I think they’ll get a pitcher like that.”

      I would rather have Millwood or Westbrook but…

      I would assume Myers cost guys in AA with a chance potential or guys like Evans with no room.

         I would have said Murphy and another prospect, but that idea is shot. Tejada and a pitcher?

            Honestly can’t trade Tejada right now unless it’s a great deal. I guess we got that guy from the O’s that could step up.

            For a Myers rental I would not give much.

            Still don’t see the Wilpons bring him in.

               He’s got a pretty reasonable option for next year. Don’t remember if it’s mutual or not.

               And Astros need ML ready guys.
