So much for using him as a chip…

Yeah he’s not even worthy of “Buffalo chip” currently.

Speaking of prospects, I’ve got MLB network on in the background and they’re running a count down clock in the bottom right corner until Strasburg’s 3rd start tonight. It’s at 4 hours, 41 minutes and 3 seconds.

As much of a loss as 2009 was, wish we had ended up dead last across the leagues so we could have had the #1 draft pick this year. Wonder if they’ll be as much as hype for Harper as there was for Strasburg….

at one point, i was supposed to be going to the nats/mets game on July 4th, but something else came up so I am not going.

and of course, that is the game that right now Strassburg is scheduled to pitch.

I’ve mildly considered it. But, I’ll be in Philadelphia Saturday, and Citi Field Monday. Don’t know that I want to add Washington into that mix. (Unless I stay in Philly over night, hop over to Washington and leave for home after the game? too busy?

really seems that something physical must be wrong with Holt. not just poor results, but he seems to have lost his “stuff” too.

I know there was some talk that he might end up being a back of the pen guy (if he didn’t develop enough of a 3rd pitch), but right now, he looks like nothing.

hopefully he fixes whatever is wrong…
