One of the beat reporters (The Ledger) is reporting not only that Beltran will start in CF on Thursday but perhaps more importantly Pagan will start in RF! Hooray!
Good news and yet sad that we as fans hope and pray for these small victories, when numbers and sight along should be smacking the General in the face that this is the right plan of action.
But, to be honest, they really have no choice but to play Pagan as they most likely won’t have their “other” lead off bat in Reyes. Not that Pagan shouldn’t play no matter Reyes’s status. Just sayin.
I did not thank you for noting it. Hardly surprising given all that has come before. I guess I can finally get over the Mets losing Flores the same way each successive Scott Kazmir start helps me get over his loss.
