because they are in California, and decided to have a 1/2 day, 1/2 night game?

A bigger question, why the hell isn’t THole starting?

I hate Jerry. I want him away from “my” team.

    Next year, him or me!

no idea, maybe its b/c Thole has never caught Takahashi before and since he doesnt speak english its difficult for a new catcher to get acclimated.

or maybe Barajas has good numbers against Cain???

most likely Jerry’s reasoning is something like “i like his bat coming off the bench”

when in doubt, go with the old standby: “jerry is an idiot”

from my understanding it is because Fox is the only channel that can legally show MLB baseball during that time slot. Fox has 2 games today, Yankees/Rays and Cardinals/Dodgers.

the Giants can only have the game start before the Yankee/Rays game or after the Dodgers/Cardinals game and since they arent showing a morning game, the only thing they can do is have a night game.

At least its 9 instead of 10…

I got an idea, let’s wait until Beltran is 4-30 at the clean up spot before we do something. Maybe by then we’ll be around .500—-if we’re lucky.

Gonzo exactly who would you suppose bat cleanup? Ike is already 4-30 in the spot and obviously it can’t be Bay. There should be no moving Wright from the 3rd spot because he is clearly our best hitter.

The new kid they just brought up, is he a 2B or SS or both?

      Either or, neither nor.

I actually liked what I saw of this Turner kid when they got him. THought he could make a nice Tatis replacement. and Voila, here he is!

Still curious to see what the bench will be next week when slappy (and hopefully Reyes) are both back.

And, will they stay with the 6 man pen? Jerry uses 5 per day, but it is always the same 5, so might as well.

and will the 3 headed catcher monster remain? TUne in next week, as these and other questions are answered.

I would not mind seeing thole and slappy starting, with barajas or blanco as the 2nd catcher, and cora, turner, frenchy and carter rounding out the bench. assuming a 7 man pen, with Taka back in, and a new Sp on board.

Well, what ever they do, I hope they keep 2011 as their main focus. So far SF has been closer to Nagasaki.

I’d really like to see some offense tonight. And I’m sure Taka could use it.

At least this game didn’t start at 1035.
