get some OBP back in the lineup, and put up some serious runs on on the D Backs. A sweep in the desert, and this lousy series will be a dim memory!

So nice to see the entire Philly pen pitching like K Rod tonight. Hope they don’t come back from 9-3 down in the 8th. But I would not put it past them.

his ERA is not much better than Johan at this point. Actually, neither is his record.
Man, I hope the big contracts to old guys really come back to bite the phils and yanks. And the Phils don’t have the money to buy there way out of them!
game was 6-3 in the mid 7th, and 10-3 by the time the inning ended.

IDK, nice is not the word I’d use to describe this win.
But I’ll take a win anyway we can get one – even one the umps hand us.
I posted this on the last thread…Johan has 8 no decisions this year so far. Five pitching 7 complete innings, one 7 2/3, two 8 innings. I wouldn’t be surprised if Johan just sets his mind to always pitch complete games just so he can get a W.

IMO you are not missing much. I do enjoy that almost any sporting event they broadcast I can watch without fear of some blackout. And if something newsworthy happens in the Chicago area I like to watch their coverage rather than national they were awesome during the whole Rod Blagojevich thing.

Otherwise, I’m not paying much attention to a team about 10 games under 500. -Unless they’ve got someone on the trading block we’d be interested in. And for some of my fellow fans in the Dugout…that does not include Zambrano…..

Everytime a SP goes 7+ innings and gives up 2 runs or less and team eventually wins for whatever reason, a win should go to a starter. Johan’s record would be like 43-2 this season.

Up at 6:30 here (west coast) and the local news is hammering the blown call and complaining how the game should be in protest.
Anyway 10 o’clock flight to AZ as my west coast world tour continues.
For this next series I won’t wear any mets logo wear Ill just be the unknown spectator these games are killing me and these opposing fans are as well. The Giant fans were cool the 1st game but by game 4 they thought that they were the world series champs.
