Metro…what is your assessment of the Mets minor league system. You have been following them pretty much all year, what are your thoughts?

Like a LOT of the bats. Don’t see a ton of future “stars” (though there are some) but I think they have had quite a few bats really take a step up this year while the pitching has gone the opposite way and needs an infusion of talent pretty bad.

Of the guys we took this year Harvey (obviously), Greg Peavey, Kenneth McDowall, Akeel Morris and Erik Goeddel seem like the best bets in terms of the starters
Relievers Fraser has looked FANTASTIC for BK, Sheppard hasn’t pitched yet for some reason (probably an injury) but he was considered a steal and there are always guys who emerge.
