Now, if Familia can sustain this for 2 straight months, then i’ll start to get excited.

Good to see you, but can understand staying away!
And Willie Dixon!
OK–The Chess Box is the best collection; several discs, available on Amazon, but DO NOT buy from Amazon secondary sellers unless they have a 98% rating or better. This set is in the mid-20s but is by far the best available compilation.
For less dough, there is Poet of the Blues, which is like $7 on Amazon, also a good collection, but much less stuff.
There is also I am the Blues, which is later stuff, also cheap, also less than the Chess Box.
Hope that helps and welcome back!!

Hey Brock, Thank You for that!….I’ve seen the set before.
Good looking out!….I’ve been having all kind of trouble with
this new site. Not helpful though that my desk top was zapped
during a recent lightning storm down here. My resolution is
all screwed up and my sound card fried…..So I’m obviously
having hardware trouble which frankly is over my head!

Good to see you buddy, and I did that Willie D research for you and wanted to let you know….any of those should be good; just depends how much Willie you need/want and how much you want to spend. As you know I am sure, there is not a hell of a lot of recorded stuff by him out there.
Sorry for the computer troubles; hope that gets fixed soon.
And how bout them Mets!!

What happened to Nickeas last year? I thought he was converting to a pitcher?
Somehow he’s managed to learn how to hit at age 27? I’ve always read that he’s a plus defender behind the plate but carries a matchstick to the plate as a hitter.
