   every day is an adventure, with Omar deciding who to call up, and Jerry making out the lineups.

   I think that they should celebrate the day they are officially eliminated by starting Ollie, and just letting him pitch until his arm falls off.

      We really only have four bona fide major leaguers playing tonight, if you count Ike and Thole.

      I know YOU don’t count Slappy, and I sure don’t count Carter and Hernandez, and no one other than his family counts Misch, and Frenchy is borderline.

   2 random predictions:

   1) The Braves will light Misch up like Sherman coming through again.

   2) The Mets will sign Brandon Webb to an incentive laden deal for next year, making him the big off season SP acquisition.

   Oh, 2 is vastly more likely if Omar/jeffy remain as the 2 headed GM monster.

   Jeez is Rico Brogna available to sign? This is probably the worst lineup in 6-7 years. I haven’t watched a full 9 innings in almost 2 months.

   random non-BB comment (mostly for Knogman), but I learned something new last night. The actress that played the mayor’s daughter (Pinto’s girl) in Animal house is the same one that played Maggie (Danny’s girl) in Caddyshack 2 years later.

   I must confess I forgot if today was an on or off day during the day and I found myself wishing it was an off day so SNY would show Mejia’s start in AAA tonight. For my money that is the much more compelling contest in metland at this stage.
