TRDMB Fantasy Baseball Update – Playoff Time!

Its playoff time in TRDMB fantasy baseball! 10 teams started this journey and after 22 long weeks of amazing head to head challenges, only 8 have earned a shot at meaningful games in September. Below are the 8 teams that have qualified for the playoffs and will be facing each other in the first round.

Congrats and good luck to those who made it…I guess DNDJohan Mets and me will just grab some popcorn with some soda to watch the show.

I definitely feel the pressure of having won the regular season by (a whopping) 13.5 games. I hope I don’t fold like the 2007 Mets.

wait, the entire regular season just to eliminate 2 teams?

    what is this, the NBA?

      We’re worse.

NBA & NHL 16 of 30 teams make playoffs, 53%
TRDMB 8 of 10 teams make playoffs, 80%

rename this the “there are no winners and losers, everyone gets a trophy so their feelings don’t get hurt” league!

Well, DND and Dirty are losers. maybe give them a little, ityy bitty trophy.

I was wondering how this fantasy league was doing.

And better luck next year, dirty – but you couldn’t have finished worse than I think our Mets will…..

I snuck all the way up to #5, only to get smacked around by Salty. Well, at least I made the playoffs. I was worried for a while, and that was taking into consideration you have to basically try NOT to make the playoffs in order to not make the playoffs.

Good luck all and may your teams be smitten with injuries and suspensions. :)

I plummeted steadily the last couple of weeks and just eked out that 8th spot. I make some roster substitutions though, and will now upset Grave on my way to a championship.

What, no TRDMB fantasy football league? If you hurry and we autodraft tomorrow, can probably do it..

If will be extra fun for me if you beat me with a solid contribution from Torii Hunter considering that I just waived him after a 20 day no-RBI stretch.

I really screwed up this week. I used up the 2 transaction limit on a spot reliever and a catcher not realizing that Josh Hamilton is injured. So my best offensive guy is out and I can’t fill a replacement. This will be interesting.

So my “smitten with injuries” plan is working… Eggs-cellent!
