Wake me up when it’s over – I wish that I could be the kind of Mets fan that could just switch off his emotions when his favorite team and turn his sights to the upcoming football season. No I shall be torturing myself by watching almost every inning of every game until the last out is recorded in the – the 2010 season.
Case in point, lets take yesterdays debacle, the Mets lost the game 13-3 due in part to Mike Pelfrey’s ineffective pitching, a leaky bullpen and a offense that would only muster three hits ! But you know something? I watched every pitch. Hell I was even cheering when Oliver Perez was brought into the game !! But lets face it , to be blown out by the last place Washington Nationals is just downright embarrassing. But watching this team is like watching the aftermath of a bad car wreck – you just have to seethe carnage while you are driving past. Well one things for sure … it is obvious that the driver of this car , Jerry Manuel won’t survive this crash.
” I couldn’t have put it any better!”
And with that said…. HERE COMES THE INFAMY !!!

Mo Vaughn is so disgusted with the state of the Mets that he won’t even allow me to make him the butt of my jokes !
