I want to thank everyone who participated in this first ever fantasy baseball league. I can only speak for myself but it was alot of fun and look forward to doing another one next year. Lets take a look now at how the races are at right now as we enter the last week of play.

we needed one more team to round off at 10 and we were a team light. I was managing both teams. I never traded with either team and I played to win with both.

I’m not counting any chickens before they hatch but I am psyched to be in the final and hoping I can hold on. All the individual categories are pretty close except perhaps RBI so I could see this go either way.
Hopefully neither of us lose key input from players “being rested for the post season.”

That is indeed my fear and I was also upset that rosters were locked for this week. I thought it might make it more fun to see if either of us were able to pick up a player for the last week that made a dramatic difference. That and I needed to dump Hanley who is done. Oh well. Grave if I do go down at least it’s to the dominant team and not to the 82 win Cards.

This league was a lot of fun and hopefully it will be around and I can be a part of it next season. I made a nice charge from last place but injuries to howard, hamilton, and youkilis were too much for my team to absorb.
Now that one season has passed it would be cool if the owners can come together and decide if some changes should be made. I personally would like to see it hosted on CBS or ESPN. I had such a difficult time judging free agents. ESPN and especially CBS have a great way to run all these statistical reports to help make a more skilled judgment. Also the scoring system was very different from anything that I’ve played. Not that it was bad but things like “holds” had such an effect on scores. I got plenty of thoughts but I’ll save it for another time.
