Well, the last day of the 2010 Season is upon us and even though we are in for some heavy fireworks in the weeks and months to come, let’s examine some positives.

Player wise, Ike looking for real was big. And near and dear to my hard, Duda rebounding from a “slow” ML start to be a beast at bat.
But team wise, the highlight has to be the 3 game SO sweep of the Phillies back in May.

Highlight?
For me there was two. The emergence of Ike Davis. Someone I didn’t even know was on the radar much Opening day and now someone who looks like he’s on his way to anchoring down 1st base for some years to come.
The other is RA DIckey. In what turned out to be a disappointing year, once RA was brought up he very quickly became a fan favorite. Every 5th day there was a reason to tune in AND stay for the post game interview.

Yeah it’s hard to find something better about 2010 than watching Ike Davis’s rookie year wondering if this kid is for real? Also the out of nowhere Great season that Dickey had also.

Don’t know whether to consider this a highlight but if David can hit 1 more dinger today and reach 30 HR’s / 100+ RBI’s after last years showing than this would be a highlight and critical for the team moving forward. Yes, I know the strikeouts but reaching these milestones would be special imo.

Maybe Ike diving over the railing to catch foul balls 3 times in what…2 weeks? Or it seemed like that. Completely absurd.
