without reading, I assume this is a simple wins/$ calculation. So not unexpected.

But, when you spend 2 straight years playing large chunks of the season with more payroll on the DL or the cornfield (Ollie), tht is going to happen!

You do yourself a disservice to comment on things you haven’t even read.

He had the “equation” correct though, right?

That is besides the point because he is taking an educated guess on what he thinks it is therefore the reality he doesn’t know so unless he reads it how can he know for certain.

I hae already seen this stuff recently. There was even a post (I think it was here) with a fancy graph and a bunch of helmets.

I just don’t find it a particularly relevant exercise.

Tru Dat!….BUT HEY, we’re better than The Cubbies!!………
AND unlike their fans, we don’t revel in our suckitude!!

Hasn’t this been done a number of times?

      Yeah.

‘Click here to read this article’……all I could thing was ‘do I have to’?

Yeah, yeah, tell us Met fans something we don’t already know. I don’t need fancy formulas to tell me what my eyes have been seeing. One of the highest payrolls in baseball and we can’t get the job done. No disputing that.

LoL Thankfully you know that you don’t have to or fear to be banned forever. ;-)

there is also a falw with the logic here. It only looks at the ML payroll. So teams that spend a fortune on draft picks don’t get dinged for that. Shouldn’t the 20million a year the Nats spend on draft picks get added to their other spending to get a true picture of what they spend on players and the team?

    1. Mr North Jersey

That is more like it. Now at least you can critique it’s flaws since you actually read it.

btw do u wanna take up what I suggested to you in other post?
