Get rid of Omar and substitute gene Michael then you might have something

well, looks good until the 2nd row. And I don’t think Omar will actually be back, and if he is, it better be on some offshoot job that doesn’t have him actually in the FO!

and someone has to have a title of GM, or the other teams won’t know who to call.

Hell, why I am at it, just replace Ricco/Omar with a GM or Asst GM that isn’t one of those guys, and stick Ricco off on the side as an assistant.

I like Alderson in his spot though, just make sure that the only way to get to the top line with anything BB ops related is through Sandy!

I know what Omar’s brought to the table. I’m not sure what specifically Ricco’s brought to the table. So, I lean towards what you say Stick.

I’m going to assume this chart is based on the interview with Walt Jocketty from over the weekend in which he said he felt that the above people would be able to work (and work well) together.

That’s OK with me as long as it is Alderson who makes the final decisions.

Nice observation Grave. That is exactly what inspired this chart.

  4. Mr North Jersey

I am surprised it has yet to come up but the question is in the feature image I used for this post.

Who is the person standing on the arrow pointing forward?

    Fred Wilpon
    Jeff Wilpon
    Sandy Alderson
    Bud Selig

I just want a level of separation – like a squiggly line – between the ownership level and Alderson. Let the GM do his thing….keep ownership, especially Jeffy, out of the way!!

Let’s at least get this organizationally correct.

Put Jeff under Fred, and place Katz off in Siberia or a desert in Egypt.

I “know” that fred and jeff meddle in BB decisions, but what the hell exactly does Katz do? THat other guy (dave something?) seems to be the business dude (stadium, etc.), but other than owning a piece of the club and spreading his kids around in patronage jobs, what is his involvement?
