Guess who!
Last night’s The Simpsons episode was almost entirely dedicated to the sport of baseball. The episode, “MoneyBART” (that should tell you how much you need to see this), is a must-see in my opinion. Here are a couple gems from early in the episode:
“The only thing I know about strategy is that whatever the manager does, it’s wrong, unless it works…in which case he’s a button pusher.”
“Baseball is a game played by the dexterous, but only understood by the poindexters.”
And yes, there is even a mention of the ’69 Mets and Ron Swoboda. I kid you not.

I caught it last night but I may just watch it again it was that funny.
I love when Mr. “Guess Who’s” World Series ring falls off and he says (roughly) “Ah, I’ll just win another one.”

Wow, I forgot The Simpsons was still on the air. Haven’t watched it in about eight years, but I’ll have to catch this episode. Don’t forget the episode with Mr Burns’ softball team of MLB ringers. That was classic.

I’m hoping. I figure the Braves would have been a gimmee for the Phils, and hopefully the Giants SP can do the job.
Just glad they did it in 4 games, so Lincecum didn’t have to get burned in this series.
Giants vs. Rays or Texas sounds like a great WS that I will enjoy watching!

wow, classic Brett Favre comes through at the end. And I was all ready with a crack about the Jets having hired Jerry to manage the play calling on their last drive! man, was that terrible.
Big win though. Sucked it up when they had to.
